Will Inspire (not HR) Work When In Pocket?

I am curious if you remove the band and place the Inspire (not the HR mode) will it accurately track step count?  Is there a Fitbit or other market clip for the Inspire anyone is aware of?

Why not the Inspire HR?  i would rather have it in my pocket than on my wrist where i knock it all the time. plus it doesn't count steps when pushing a grocery cart or stroller

It is very frustrating to walk for hours pushing a stroller and have it look like you haven't taken a single step!

It is frustrating! I would be much happier having a clip like my ONE, but there's nothing out there to replace that. Was told point blank that I could have a clip for the indoor hr, but now am told it won't work with it. I may just resort to keeping it in my pocket, where at least it knows I'm  walking

I've used a clip with my HR off and on for months now.  Typically in the warmer months I use the clip since I don't like wearing 2 watches (I'm a bit of a watch geek.. yea those mechanical ones.)  Anyway, I don't see much difference with step count when it's on my wrist vs on the clip.  Only downside is that HR doesn't function on the clip.  I got the clip off Amazon and it fits fine.  

So, I wouldn't hesitate to get the clip and use it.  If you want to occasionally check HR or sleep patterns put it on the wrist.

I agree. in cold weather i go to the big stores like walmart, target and
walk up and down each aisle and push a cart. also i walk up and down each
aisle when grocery shopping.
