When my Fitbit Inspire HR is connected to my Windows 10 laptop, Fitbit and bluetooth related processes in Task Manager can continuously consume 30% of CPU resources even when the app UI is closed, causing the fan to run at high speed. I turned off the All Day Sync setting which made no difference. The only way I've found to prevent this is to turn off bluetooth on the laptop.

@Davecm Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your Fitbit app high usage of your computer resources. This is odd but I suggest you uninstall the app, restart your computer and install it again from the app store.
Let me know how it goes.

Best AnswerI tried your suggestion, thanks. Made no difference. Fitbit background plus associated bluetooth tasks still linger around 30% of CPU when app is closed. Turning off Bluetooth still required.
