When my Fitbit Inspire HR is connected to my Windows 10 laptop, Fitbit and bluetooth related processes in Task Manager can continuously consume 30% of CPU resources even when the app UI is closed, causing the fan to run at high speed. I turned off the All Day Sync setting which made no difference. The only way I've found to prevent this is to turn off bluetooth on the laptop.

@Davecm Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your Fitbit app high usage of your computer resources. This is odd but I suggest you uninstall the app, restart your computer and install it again from the app store.
Let me know how it goes.

I tried your suggestion, thanks. Made no difference. Fitbit background plus associated bluetooth tasks still linger around 30% of CPU when app is closed. Turning off Bluetooth still required.
