Windows 10 PC app no longer syncs with Inspire HR

I haven't been able to sync with my PC app for a while now. Roughly since the new mobile app was released. Strange as I don't think the mobile app has anything to do with the PC one.

 

I get a message saying "Check to see if the tracker is connected to another device and disconnect them." I don't even know what that's supposed to mean. Unlike most people my phone and tablet are off 99% of the time so I sync with the laptop. Now I can't. Won't work on my tablet either. I've rebooted the device a few times, uninstalled and reinstalled the PC app. Still won't work. Why?

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing with your computer. Try removing the device from your phone's bluetooth list. After this try these suggestions.

Removed the pairing on my phone. Still won't connect to the computer. The suggestions on the link were no help.

Rebooted the Fitbit, then unpaired from PC and repaired. Seems to be working for now.
