Wrist rotation to automatically turn Fitbit on stopped working after update

I have an Inspire HR that was working fine up until I updated to the latest version yesterday. Since the update, rotating my wrist doesn't turn it on.

Is there a way to fix this?  I can't find any configuration options for this in the phone app or fitbit.

Hold in left button a few seconds.  Below battery, see 'Screen Wake'. Tap to toggle on or off.

I have read of updates sometimes messing with settings but no idea if that was the case this time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hello, I have the same issue.  My screen does not come on when I flick my wrist.  I held the button on the side and the battery came on but the screen still does not work.  Can you help me with this?

After you hold down the button and the battery appears, there should be an icon below it that looks like a light bulb. Tap that icon on the screen to toggle it on/off.

Holding in the side button takes you to quick settings.  From there, you might have to scroll up or down to get to 'Screen Wake'.
