time zone change doesn't reset anymore

I have gone from EST to PST 3 times in the last month and the Inspire reset once by itself when it synced in the airport, but after that I had to google how to do it.  These are the instructions and they worked before however, this time - there is NO "ADVANCE SETTINGS" option therefore it won't reset to East Coast time.  I've only had this watch for 3 months at most.  Not happy.  I also tried resetting the watch - got the smiley face but no time zone change.

How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > Advanced Settings.
  2. Under Time Zone, turn off the Set Automatically option.
  3. Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.

Same here, also east coaster. Time jumped four hours this afternoon and heart rate not responding.  deleted data, rebooted 3x, changed time zone on app and dashboard. Deleted device and added back, now stuck on “connecting to tracker”. Time is still messed up

had the device since August

So convenient to not have tech support on weekends /s

Maybe its finally time for an Apple Watch

Update.  I just threw the watch away.  It wasn't recording my heart rate.  I bought it to see my sleep and that's off because of the time and now the heart rate.  **ahem** product.  I used to own a heart rate chest strap a long time ago made by Timex though only wore it running.  It worked consistently for years!!!  Then, because I worked for Intel Corporation for years, I purchased their UGLY man-watch for HR monitoring and it worked over a year.  This Inspire I purchased beginning of August 2020 and so I have gotten less than 3 months worth of use out of it.  WASTE OF MONEY.  Am I buying another HR tracker?  NO!  My iphone manages to show me (for FREE) my daily steps and I can feel my heart rate intensity on my runs.  The category held promise but I won't be buying another.  It was a considerable price to pay for 2.5 months of data and a headache trying to get it to work properly.  Note:  coming from the tech industry myself, I'm increasingly disappointed with the crap that's being produced; lack of quality is rampant.
