2 fitbit accounts

i have two different fitbit accounts  each with a different email. I want to use one account only.  One account is a road runner acct (yes it is the oldest).. the other is a gmail account. If i delete the gmail account. Can i then change the email address for the RR account to the gmail address?  This has been a headache...

@keninlargo   I never tried this, so my answer is maybe.  Please read this Help article before you tap on any "Are you sure?" buttons.  Fitbit gives you a grace period to change your mind about deleting an account.  But it can take 30 - 90 days for an account to be completely deleted.  The way I read it, it will take a while to free up your gmail address.

A device can only be on one account at a time.  Are you using two different devices?  Is all of your gmail data also on your road runner account?  Fitbit doesn't let you merge accounts.  I can't picture how you will do this without losing dara.

we already lost all of the data from june 2021 to now. Which may have been when hubby did the switch and maybe created a new account with the gmail..... but it had stopped syncing so he had to uninstall and reinstall and the support person had him do it in such a way to have him lose that data...

But the RR account has data from 2013 when he started using fitbits... He is VERY goal oriented. and would love to retain the badges that he has been building since then.... weirdly he had just got the badge of distance earn..from earth to the moon badge... i almost think all the data had merged..maybe... teach me to let him touch the technology.  lol
