I tracked a 34 minute walk yesterday and only received 13 active minutes. Why didn't it show the full 34 active minutes? I haven't had issues with this in the past.

Hello @Mdalke are you asking about active minutes or minutes of Activity? These are not the same thing.
Your title is asking about activity minutes and this would be the total time recorded for your walk.
The body of your post is mention Active minutes and these are the minutes where the caloric burn is at least 3 times the bodies BMR. Very seldom is all minutes of an activity show as Active minutes.

Active minutes. I took a very brisk walk and used the exercise tracking on the versa and didn't receive active minutes for it.

It says you took a 34 minute walk with 13 active minutes.
I would expect some active minutes but not all to be active.
