I want to use my versa 3 to make sure I haven't left my phone somewhere. So I use watchfaces with bluetooth icons. But they don't update fast enough or they show disconnected when it is connected or vice versa. My old Pebble just vibrated and changed status as soon as the Bluetooth connection dropped. Why doesn't the versa 3 do that?

Thanks Guy. Yes, the status indicators are a start but not even close to what I want, need, and expect. The idea is that it needs to immediately get your attention if you walk away from your phone (like leave it in a restaurant). It needs to vibrate vigorously! Looking at my phone and noticing the tiny indicator when I get home is far too late....by then someone has taken phone. I had a cheap ($25) "Martian Notifier" watch that had this feature years ago....and, it also scrolled my text messages. Too bad they went out of business. It was a cheap smart watch that was actually SMART.
The other problem is that it is very difficult to even learn if this feature is included on other watches. I call it an "Electronic Leash". But this feature isn't ever talked about. You have to buy the watch and spend hours digging into settings and apps. It shouldn't be this hard for such a simple feature. Actually, after going through 2 Martian Notifier watches I assumed that ALL "smart" watches came with this obvious feature.....guess not!

Same here. I had a Pebble Time and it was my favourite feature. They were bought out by Fitbit so why ????? did they not just reuse the tech, whether firmware or software?
