I just saw that I can't put my music on the versa 3.
I had a versa 2 and having known before I wouldn't have bought a versa3.
Now I have a GPS but I have to bring my cell phone to get my music.
It makes no sense.
Always been satisfied with my Fitbit but unfortunately I will have to consider another brand for my next purchase.
Really disappointed.

@devilclou- what is wrong with getting another Versa 2 which does have music without phone?
Or you can use one of the paid music sources to get music on board.a Versa 3.
It does seem to be rather a let down from a high end watch.

Like the versa 2, a user can store Pandora and Deezer music on their tracker. No need for the phone.

The odd thing is there was an application for it but it's now disabled. Can it be re-enabled please. I have a load of mp3s, I don't need another subscription. My old Samsung gear fit 2 pro from 2016 could play MP3s, surely something from 2020 should be able to, it'd make exercising with the Fitbit alone better leaving the mobile at home.

Yes, but that requires a paid subscription. What if you already have an MP3 collection your phone.

Unfortunately the request by users to implement the storage of personal music has been ruled out by Fitbit.

Same here. I had many mp3's that I would walk/run to. None of them are available on Spotify. I could do this on my ionic, but after the recall and moving to the versa 3, I can't. Maybe I made a mistake sticking with Fitbit? I think I should just return this and buy the Samsung watch that does everything the Versa 3 does, but I can put my own music/books on it. Very sad and frustrating. On the features board, they have this set to "not planned", so I don't think I plan to wait. It must be related to contracts with Spotify/Deezer/Pandora. Bummer.
