I bought the Versa 2 in January 2022. In April, 2022, the clock face popped out. Therefore, I contacted Fitbit support. Because my device was under warranty, they sent me a replacement. I received my replacement in April 2022. On 8/25/22, my clock face popped out again. It appears it pops out every four months. I contacted Fitbit support again to primarily share my experience and alert them of this defect. I didn’t expect to get a replacement but, they are sending me a replacement because they said it’s still under warranty.
Fitbit support was exceptional. However, as you will see from my pictures showing the 2 defective devices, there clearly seems to be a major flaw in the assembly of the Versa 2 smart watches. In both cases, I did not drop my watches or do anything to manipulate the faces, it just happened. The rep promised me that he would alert the appropriate people about my experience. I really hope that they take this situation very seriously as these watches are expensive and customers should not have to go through this.
I have been a Fitbit user for over a decade. I’ve had minor issues with previous devices but nothing like this. I’ll continue to be a Fitbit user but if this situation occurs again, I may have to rethink my loyalty.

I had the same issue but unfortunately I bought my watch in Feb 2021 and I was out of the warranty before I notify fitbit of my issue, I thought it was due to having a screen protector, maybe causing it to sweat and the glue not be able to stick anymore. But now I see it's an issue with the Versa 2. Fitbit did offer to give me a 30% off discount off my next purchase but I think I'm going to shop around. college

I unfortunately just had this happen to me too. This is my 2nd Versa and 4th fitbit overall. Mine always seem to break or just stop working immediately after the warranty ends. Their response is to always give a discount, but after this one, I’m very seriously considering never purchasing a fitbit again. Pretty disappointed as the face popping off these seems to be a widely known issue for years and yet they haven’t seemed to do anything about it.
