All-Day Sync

I'm confused about the Add-Day Sync on my Versa Lite. Some people say it's been removed, others say it's still there, you just no longer have the option to turn it off. I have to sync mine every time I open the app. I don't have the option to turn it on or off within the app. Can someone please explain this to me? I want it to sync all day so when I look at the app, it's up to day without having to sync it manually. Thanks!

From How do Fitbit devices sync their data?

So it does sync throughout the day, but not continuously every second of the day.  I guess if you close the app, when you open it, it will sync.  If you leave it open (as I do), the only way to be sure it is up-to-date is to sync it manually, but it will sync on its own occasionally.

I think that is what the now gone all-day-sync did anyway.  I don't think it could have been continuously syncing all day long.

If you really want to be sure it is current with manually syncing, I guess you could close the app, then re-open it.

At least that is my interpretation.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
