My understanding is that the Versa Lite only receives messages from Apple phones but the Versa 2 you will be able to send and receive messages from Apple phones. Can anyone approve/disprove this?

The only think I know that is different about iPhones and messages is that you cannot do a "quick reply" directly from tracker synced to iPhone.  I'm not sure about Versa 2 but would not expect that to change since it has to do with a limitation imposed by Apple.

 

I'm not aware of any limitations on receiving messages based on source for any model.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
