BPM calculation is not correct

Hi,

I am new on Fitbit Versa.

My question is regarding BPM (beats per minute) or heart rate. I observed that BPM is showing wrong values most of the time.

Would someone tell me what is the mechanism of calculating BPM and how it is working ?

You are not alone, there are hundreds of people that have Fitbit Versa's with inaccurate heart rates.  Mine shows 30 bpm faster than what it is when I take my own pulse.  It is a known problem and Fitbit does have engineers working on it with no expected resolution date.

Thank you Jenni for sharing your comments, you are lucky to know that your BPM is showing 30 plus always. in my case its abrupt..
