Can anyone tell me if I could use the fitbit versa 1 bands with the fitbit versa 2?

Bands for all Versa family (Versa, Versa LIte, Versa 2) are interchangeable.

They all fit each other.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Look on Amazon.  There are some very smart, bright & not so, clean & well made 3rd party straps available for the Versa.

 

I like the soft silicone ones with lots hole in them as it allows sweat to drain away from your skin prohibiting inflammation under the strap.

 

Wash the strap with antibacterial soap & your wrist regular. Leave watch off for an hour or so after each workout to let skin breath. Then that inflammation will not happen.
