Battery Drain

Hi, I'm having an issue with my Versa battery. I charged it to full last night at 9pm, and it's already on 35%. I've checked the previous help topics and deleted apps I don't need, the screen doesn't automatically turn on and I've no alarms...I bought it 1 year ago.

Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @BeccaBecca.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the issue you're experiencing with your Versa's battery draining faster than expected. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue and following the tips to improve the battery life. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Switch to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  2. Restart your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Charge the watch to 100% and use it like normal.

You can confirm the complete tips to prevent the battery drain in this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Let me know how it goes!

Hi and thank you for your reply - I've checked I'm on a Fitbit watch face, and changed my watch to 100% and then restarted it for the last 2 days, from being fully charged at 9am it's down to 45% by 9pm each day. Is that normal? Thank you!

Hi @BeccaBecca, thank you for your reply.

I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. The estimated battery life for the Fitbit Versa is 4 days or more. I've sent your information to the Customer Support team so they can investigate further and provide a solution. You should be getting a reply soon.

I have had my versa for 8 months without a problem now it just shuts off when I put it on charger it says 100% within minutes and confirms it on the app but when taken off the charger  it does within a minute showing battery 0% I have tried doing a shutdown and recharging but exactly the same result

My battery suddenly lasts only a couple hours and is dead, what’s the deal?

Super convenient that all these Versa's are having battery issues about a year after you buy them so they are no longer covered by the warranty, but you can pre-order the new Versa 2 🤔
