My Versa's battery recently began dying after a little over a day. Previously the battery would last for several days. When it dies completely, I have to manually re-sync it. What is causing this and can it be fixed?

Yes, I have the same issue recently and I'm wondering if it's to do with the recent update I did yesterday

Yes, that's certainly a possibility, I hadn't thought of that! But I do update all the time. This problem came on very suddenly; it was fine before.

I’ve just shut down my Fitbit and turned it back on again. It’s now charged at 100% so I’ll see what % it’s at when I wake up tomorrow!

I am having the same problem as well. I have tried resetting fitbit, but it is still not working. it would be helpful if anyone from the fitbit provides any information on this.

The battery has completely drained already! This is so annoying because I bought this in november!

Same issue. Started in last couple of weeks.

Same. Battery drains in hour or 2. Heart rate monitor not working. No sleep tracking. Feminine tracking has been glitching. Steps have been freezing. Basically my Versa is now an expensive useless bracelet. I’ve followed all online suggestions and it’s just broken I guess. This happened about a week ago and my husband’s Versa just started the same problem a couple days ago. Thinking of switching to an Apple Watch since we are both avid runners and running is helping us so much during this pandemic. Has Fitbit stopped service on the Versa?

Interesting. I can't get through to Fitbit. Has anyone been able to actually talk with them about a solution? If they can't fix this, then I agree that Apple would be a better solution.

I’ve had my Versa 2 since Xmas. Within the last month, the battery lasts 48 hours. I completed the update and the problem persists. If anyone finds a solution let me know. Thanks so much!

I’ve been having this issue for the last 3 days, my battery drained from 70% late yesterday afternoon to 9% when I woke this morning.
Last week my Versa was restarting every hour, sometimes twice an hour and the swipe wasn’t working at all. That seems like it’s fixed now but the battery is draining excessively fast without me using it much (just wearing - no tracking fitness, no checking it regularly).
update: swipe has gone back to not working at all. Frustrated.

I did a soft restart and the battery seems ok now but it’s gone back to restarting multiple times through the day & night, and the swipe isn’t working at all. Ugh!! Fitbit please fix your software.

And the only reason I haven’t dumped the Versa and switch to Apple Watch is because of the sleep tracking which I really need. I hope they get this battery drain issue fixed soon!

You can always check for updates manually. Press your image in the upper left corner of the dashboard. Then tap on help, then tap on “check for versa updates.“

No, it has not been fixed. The latest is I have to reboot manually several times a day now. And sometimes it shows zero battery percentage but then when I put it in the charger in five minutes it will show 100% battery. Then if I wear it for a few minutes, it will go down to 40 or 50% battery. It’s a mess!
