Blinking red light on Versa 2 and notification problem

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got my Fitbit Versa 2 last 2 weeks, there's no blinking red light on my versa until I forgot to remove it before taking a shower yesterday. There's a blinking red light when I remove it after shower i turned it off(Shutdown) after a few minutes I turned it on and the red light is gone. Everything is working fine, the red light is only blinking around 11pm only for a few minutes. Skin temperature on fitbit app isn't working until it got wet in the shower. Not sure if Sp02 is connected to the red light but I'm using the normal clock face not the Sp02. Another problem is i always get this on my Fitbit app "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker." I'm using android(Huawei) with android 10.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Eltsar.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your Fitbit Versa 2. Your time while dealing with this situation is highly appreciated.

Our team is aware of this issue with notifications and is working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. We're sorry for any trouble this situation could have caused to you. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

In the meantime, some users have had success after following the next steps:

- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app

- On your phone, open the Settings app > Apps and notifications > Apps, give all the permissions to the app
- Tap Fitbit > Battery Launch (manages if the app is running in the background) - tap the 3 dots at the top right corner - Manage manually (here is the list of all the apps on the phone) - on the Fitbit app icon, check the 3 boxes Manage automatically, Secondary launch, and Run in background.

- Reboot your phone and restart your Versa 2.

Regarding the issue with the heart-rate please turn the sensor off and back on. For instructions on how to navigate your Watch, please visit this article.

Hope this helps.
