Bluetooth Connection Issues

Can Fitbit at least acknowledge they have a problem with bluetooth connectivity with the Versa?

 

I have a fully updated Galaxy S8+. All to frequently, my Versa loses its bluetooth connection to my phone  I have continually tried to restart the Versa and the phone  I've deleted cache and data for both bluetooth and the Fitbit app. Sometimes the device connects for a couple days.

 

Sometimes I'll go a couple days without a connection  all of my other bluetooth devices work fine without issue. I previously had a Charge 2 which seldom had issues. I can only conclude that the Versa has problems maintaining a connection with a slim chance that it is the app at fault. 

 

I should note that I searched both the forums and the Fitbit articles and could find nothing but others with the same problem. I know others with a Versa who are experiencing the same thing on their iPhones. 

 

This needs to be fixed. I cannot accept restarting devices, clearing data, removing and re-adding the device, and uninstalling/re-instslling the app as viable solutions

Also please be aware that Android users are having issues syncing with Android 9 (Pie), you can check this thread to keep up to date with this.
