I have a Fitbit Versa with a Motoroloa Moto G5 Plus. I have noticed that when I track my exersize using the run function the distances are considerably short while the bicycle function seems to be pretty accurate. To be fair, I am actually riding my Trikke T12 while using the run function because the workout is closer to run then biking. I have noticed that other people with fitbit devices also have issues with GPS distances when running. I would think no matter which exercise function is used the distance and speed would come strictly from the phone and not measured by our "stride". Walking is another matter altogether. Also, is there a reason why running can be broken down by miles but biking is not? That would be nice to have since that distance measuring seems to work properly. Otherwise I can't complain the Versa is a nice device.

@gjy0724 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
I will gladly assist you with the GPS accuracy and sorry for the late reply. Not sure why this may be happening. There is an issue in which the distance could be not that accurate if you use hike or walk with the app but usually run is more accurate. In your case is the opposite. Try these suggestions to improve the accuracy using your phone's GPS.
Regarding the mile splits with bike. Currently this isn't possible but you can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.
