Hi,
just received my replace Versa today after my one is completely dead. Unfortunately the brand new Versa can not sync data and connect via Bluetooth. Drop the connection every 5th second. It’s very annoying. Also have problem to connect wifi... what can I do now? I am very disappointed! 😞

Dang I hope you didn't get the first one I sent back!! My second one I sent back yesterday, but is still in Transit. Both would not sync, and randomly would find my wifi.

Someone should do a survey to try to find out how many Versa owners have problems with Bluetooth and have sync issues. It wouldn't surprise me if the number was over 50%. I am still not sure whether this is a hardware or software issue with the Versa. Having 2 separate device settings for Bluetooth on the Versa seems to me to cause a conflict and have something to do with the device's problems.

You probably are right. But I tell you Fitbit gets great reviews everywhere. I always look at reviews before buying. After my blaze started acting up, I checked reviews for the versa. Amazon is a great resource for reviews. But I tell you if I would of found this community earlier, I would not of bought either one.

Fitbit says that wifi is not needed for sync only Bluetooth. But my second one (first wouldn't setup) would only sync if it was in range of my wifi. I had to set it on my router to sync. Then the next day that stopped working. I returned that versa too.

So annoyed at Fitbit. On my second versa as heart rate monitor packed in also happened to my daughters (so between us we've had 4 versas since Oct 2018). Now I can't sync at all. Looking into getting full refund and switching to a more reliable tracker. Any suggestions? I will never buy Fitbit again. 👎

I also have a Charge 2 and have never had any sync or Bluetooth issues with it. It seems to me that there is something systematically wrong with the Versa that is more serious than just a few defective devices.

I also checked so many reviews and decided to buy Versa instead of Apple Watch 3. It looks like a bad decision. I don’t know what to do. Send them back this one ... but what they would send me back? Another useless Versa ???

You are right. Never had any problems syncing my charge HR, or my blaze. But Fitbit definitely has problems with all their devices. My charge HR band started bubbling(multiple people had that problem) sweat reacting to the glues in the band. The blaze never had 5 day battery life. Only 3 at the start, then got worse over the last year and a half(multiple people have that problem) now the versa, wifi I believe is the issue.

My first versa I went through Fitbit customer service. Once they determined it was bad, they would replace it under warranty. That is a new or a refurbished one. Well I had it for 1 day, and not taking any chances of paying $200 for a refurbished one. So I called amazon and returned it.

I am also having trouble syncing my new Versa. Spent way too much time setting it up unsuccessfully. Rebooted, installed, removed and reinstalled, so many times, I can't count. Tried on my Samsung Phone and my Windows 10 computer--nothing. Customer Service very patiently but couldn't get anything. I keep getting the message: Cannot connect to fitbit.com that was today. Yesterday I got a webpage showing a hand holding a FitBit One that said they were maintaining the website apologizing for the inconvenience. As requested by customer service, sent a screenshot to support but haven't heard anything. Getting very frustrated. I wanted a Galaxy Watch, but didn't because of the low battery life. Maybe I should have.

Yes I tried on my desktop, my tablet, wife's tablet with no luck for the first versa. The second versa finally finished setup using my wife's tablet. But after that nothing. Just kept saying it was having Bluetooth issues. It would sync while I was using my desktop and the Fitbit connect, but had to set the versa on top of my router, but the next day that stopped working. after that I just gave up and returned my second versa.

I had a charge hr 2 and loved it. Needed one that would track swimming so sold that on and foolishly bought the versa.
