So tonight I gave my mother her birthday present, a FitBit Versa like she had been looking at getting. She was all excited when she saw what I had gotten her and that was great. Until we opened the box...
The device came with no charge. Disappointing but I understand, can't charge them once they're in a box. So I worked on charging it.
I place it on charge, it flashes up 0%. I leave it for an hour and return. Blank screen. Nothing happens if I touch it. So I take it off and press the restart buttons. Nothing. I place it on charge and again 0% is there again.
This time I'm careful about how it's placed. Definitely correct. I even try a different outlet. Still nothing. So after 30 minutes I try a computer. 0% again. Then nothing.
My mum is disappointed she can't show her friends tomorrow. I'm frustrated as I've done all the troubleshooting (I'm a tech specialist it's what I do). And now I'm just thinking how unreliable are these devices?
Debating exchanging it for a new one or just getting my money back and go for an Apple Watch or something.
