Broken Versa Lite

My Fitbit Lite is about a 1 year and a half old, yesterday the screen would not switch off, if I pressed the button to turn the screen off it would immediately turn on again. It fixed for a short while after I rebooted it and then lines appeared on the screen. It ran out of battery pretty quickly and now it won't charge (the display won't turn on) is this something that happened because it is old? (although I would expect something like this to last a lot longer than 2 years and my mother's is still working and we bought it at the same time.) Is this an easy issue to fix? I bought it when the UK was still under the EEA but obviously now that is not the case, is the warranty still valid?

Fitbit has not been submerged in water or in the shower so really shouldn't have any water damage.

Hello @CCart and welcome to the Help forums.  I think you should contact Support directly.  Only a high-priced lawyer can tell you about warranties and Brexit.  Emphasize that you have a 2 year warranty.  In the same situation, I wouldn't mention Brexit at all.
