The button stopped working and have worked fine but suddenly stopped. Have read that this problem have happend to a lot with fitbit versa 2. Is it someting I can do to fix it?

As you say it seems to be a common issue, as to what causes it is not yet clear, may not even be a watch problem.
Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

I dont have twitter and the chat would not work. I tried to find a mail address but it looks like its hidden or they dont have any mail to contact?

May be its possible from the Fitbit App, click on your profile photo then Help & support and then Contact Support, it may be only available during week day US office hours.
