I just got the Versa2

I didn’t wear my watch overnight and woke up to calories burned. I’m already over 1,000 calories burned and haven’t done excessive activity today. Is there a way to truly start the count once my watch is on? I’m coming from an Apple Watch that didn’t start until I wore it & didn’t predict any calories burned. I want calories burned based off my activity/wear.

Those are your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories that you are always burning by being alive.  They are always credited, even when you are not wearing the tracker.

There is no way to prevent this.
