I got no help from Fitbit support online and chat. Is there anyway enough "noise" can be generated by the Fitbit Community Forum to get Fitbit (particularly in my case, the Versa 3) to add "Pickle Ball" to the exercise list of choices in Fitbit so as to get more accurate feedback on my exercise (and many others I've talked to)? Pickle Ball is the fastest growing sport in America and it would seem to benefit Fitbit in the long run that they could add it to the exercise list...

In 2022 it was ranked 3rd highest activity with 34 million people playing it. It was behind hiking and biking. Way ahead of other activities. Apple watch already has it. Come on Fitbit.

Add your vote to one of the many existing requests, or just call it "Workout".

Here's my take, since nobody asked:
Many people have an unrealistic view on what it means to see their activity, such as "pickleball", listed in the on-wrist Exercise App. Some think that means Fitbit will apply some sport-related formula to calculate the calorie burn. That is not the case. Calorie burn is calculated from your heart rate. Period. Whether you are playing pickleball or knitting. What the label "Pickleball" is used for is to give the workout a label so you can look back in your history and see what you were doing. You could just as well pick out some activity you never use, maybe "bootcamp" or "dancing" and know that when you see that, it really means "pickleball".
But I know this won't satisfy anyone because pickleball players have to preach that it is the fastest growing sport; therefore the word "pickleball" has to be in any list of activities.

Since, as you say, it’s likely as simple as just adding an additional exercise label with no additional calculations involved… Fitbit adding label “Pickleball” in the next OS update should be fairly easy.
I’d rather use the label “Pickleball”, rather than using “Badminton” (not that popular in the US) when I play.

Johnny Row I completely agree with you. When I cut the grass, I use "Workout" and I feel it does a decent job. My guess is that a Pickleball exercise would not make people happy. Pickleball is more of a low impact, and close to, a low HIIT "workout". I go to HotWorx every morning and spend 23 minutes on the elliptical in that 125 degree sauna and use the elliptical exercise option on the Versa 3. Fitbit does a good job of calculating calories AND I believe the workout routine would work just as good. Try that option when you play Pickleball!
