I have a fitbit versa 2 and I changed the clock face and it froze and a 6 digit number popped up and telling me to go to a link (I did not because it didn’t say anything about fitbit. I did a soft and hard reset and now some Chinese writing is is on there with the fitbit symbol and keeps flipping. I have disconnected it from my Bluetooth on my phone and I’m getting notifications to pair it with my fitbit that doesn’t even have a face on it? Someone help please lol

You might have chosen a third-party clock face that requires a fee, with the link to the site to pay the fee.  But don't take my word for it because I haven't done a for-fee clock face for years.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @Anisar311 - it is probably a payment request/authorisation but your watch is now in limbo with the Fitbit logo.

Try the following procedure

  • Remove your watch from your Fitbit account
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth on the phone and any other nearby phones and Fitbit devices
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after a couple of minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • In the Fitbit App, click profile photo and "+ Set up a Device" like in the initial setup it should make a new connection.
  • If this doesn't work, restart the watch by pressing the button for 8 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and after a minute try again.
