Can't install some clock faces on my new Versa 2

Just got another versa 2 and when trying to change the clock face, there are only a few that allow me to install. Why is the "install' button on the faces grayed out....meaning I can't install them?

Hi @Katrina7050 - this is due to the initial setup not installing the latest firmware.

You can do a factory setup and install it again with the latest firmware or wait some days before you will get the latest firmware and do it then.

As @Guy_ has mentioned, since you have just setup your Versa 2 it may appear up to date but it needs another update. The latest update isn't available until up to 48 hours after setup. For more information, see What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?

Please keep me posted if after 48 hours you're still not receiving the most recent version of your watch.

Thank you for this info. Where do I go to get the latest updates...or do they happen automatically?

Also, is this the reason the screen does not come on when I look at my wrist? I have to manually press the side button to see time, stats, etc.

I did not have these issues with my previous two versa 2's

@Katrina7050 - as I mentioned the new firmware will arrive with a factory reset or if you wait.

Long press the button to get to Quick Settings and enable wrist wake.

For some reason they stopped installing the latest firmware for new watches, it used to work correctly.
