Can't scroll on Versa 2 screen

I tried everything, rebooted phone, restarted tracker, deleted device from fitbit account, reinstalled it, plugged the charger to my laptop, logged in on PC, deleted and reinstalled app, anything I tried won't make the scrolling on my Versa2 screen, possible. Please help!

Is this after you switched over to Google?  I ask because I had the same problem along with other like syncing, alexa, and 3rd party apps not working.

I did this mid-morning and by early evening, the syncing problem corrected itself.  Alexa, I don't know if it would have corrected itself, but I went back in and set it all over again and it works fine.

The scrolling problem I had up to and including when I went to bed.  I would swipe up and got the Fitbit logo screen, but it would automatically jump back to the watch face and would not let me swipe past the logo screen to see the tiles for steps, miles, heartrate, etc.  I saw nowhere that I could even try to add them back in again.

This morning I got up and all the tiles are there!  I think it has something to do with the time it takes to migrate everything from FitBit to Google maybe?  Anyway, once again I have proved that patience is NOT my forte' but in the long run, all it took was time.

I have this problem too. Contacted customer service today who told me to restart, factory reset, and nothing has worked! They have given me a voucher for money off a new Fitbit but I don’t want to buy a new one 🤦‍:female_sign:

I didn’t switch to Google yet, the issue turns to be an update that my Versa 2 won’t do for whatever reason! I kinda did my research, and apparently if you missed an update or two  on your tracker, the tracker cannot do the update anymore and it’s as good as garbage! Massive Fitbit App fail, which I think Fitbit should take responsibility for and replace those trackers for free, no updates on my tracker have ever shown on my Fitbit account, and if there’s no such notification, there’s no way to you can do an update! Just like on the phone, you can’t do a software update if there’s none!

They made me the same offer, but I think that they’re responsible for the full cost of a new device since it’s their **ahem**ty device and app that didn’t provide us the updates for our trackers every time an update had to be made! I think they’re doing some things on purpose to sell their trackers! A Fitbit watch should last more than 2-3 years! Mine worked fine, I took good care of it, I didn’t leave it on the charger for more than 1-2 hours, my battery would still last 5 days a week ago, it turned into trash overnight, as soon as they made the update popping up on my app!

They made me that same offer. The watch works, I just can't swipe all the time. This is the second time this has happened in the past two years. The last watch was a Versa 2 and in just over a year old, the same thing happened. I took advantage of the discount and got another Versa 2. This one has done the same thing, just over a year. It sounds like this is a recurring problem. I don't want to buy a new watch, I just want this one fixed or replaced. Does anyone know of something comparable to the Fitbit that is reasonably priced? Buying a new watch every year is really getting old.

I guess I won't ever buy another Fitbit product again. Nor will I recommend any of their products to anyone. Especially after being told that these is not an issue with the Versa 2. This swipe problem has happened with the last 2 watches that I have purchased. The first one I took advantage of the discount (because it was worth it) This time it really isn't worth it. The Versa 2 is not an option to buy. The cheapest option is the Versa 4. For this swipe problem to happen twice in two years to two different watches, appears that there is definitely a problem. And from scrolling through some of the threads here in this forum.....it seems to be a common problem. Not to replace the product and just offer a measly 35% off in todays market is a joke. Especially with how expensive these watches are. For about the same amount of money you can get a Galaxy watch and it will probably last longer. I have researched the Galaxy watch 4 and it's comparable to the Fitbit. I don't need anything with all the bells and whistles so that's why the 4 is an option. Thanks for listening to my rant. Ya'll have a great day.

I haven’t had a problem with my Versa 2 in 4 years! I probably still wouldn’t have a problem with it if it could do the latest software update, that’s what killed it! I stand to what I said before, they’re doing all these updates and changes that are not compatible with their own products, to force people to buy new devices! With Google removing open groups, challenges, and trophies from the Fitbit app, I have no interest in using their product or app by all means, Apple Watch it is!!
