Hi is there anybody here experiencing the same thing with me?? I set up my Fitbit Versa an hour ago and until now it is still on 5%. I regret that i bought this. What should i do?Any help
would be appreciated.Thankyou

@Carolvic You mean you're still downloading the update? You need a strong wifi connection and both devices (your tracker and the phone) need to be very close to the router.

Im still setting it up. This fitbit has just arrived today and im setting it but its still 5% still downloadin

@Carolvic Did you manage to set up WiFi network within the Fitbit mobile app? Did you place both Versa (in the charging dock) and your mobile near the router?

Once again it needs to connect to your Wifi

@Carolvic You can give it a few hours. If it's not successful, then just restart the whole process using other wifi network. Perhaps at your friend's place, work, etc.?

We are asking when you say still setting up, that your referring to loading the firmware.
I find it the bar doesn't increase in 10 minutes i kill the app and restart.
One thing you can try next time it fails is to tell it to use Bluetooth.
If the firmware still freezes then try setting up the Versa again, use the replace option. This time however tell it that you will setup Wifi later, this will force updating though BT. When I setup the Versa I did it this way and loaded the firmware while driving to work.

Thankyou. I tried again the setting up again and again. Last night i leave it and went to sleep when i woke it is still in 5%. This is so frustrating.

Last night did you try through Bluetooth or wifi? Have you tried both ways?

I have tried both ways bloototh and wifi. Just want to Ask question.Is this setting up needs to have strong internet connection??like how strong?i keep uninstalling the fitbit app in my phone and keep on making new accoutn just to set up this fitbit versa but still it only stays in 5%. I dont know if it because of the internet or my fitbit is not good.

I'm not sure what your definition of strong internet, or we talking about the internet connection to the phone or the internet connection to the Versa?
Are you referring to the streangth of the wifi signal or the speed of the internet connection?
The speed should not matter until something causes it to come to a standstill and the strength of the signal just needs to be strong enough for a solid connection.
When my tracker connected to the WiFi it goes through a second router.

@Carolvic You have your Versa in the charger (and charging) right?? You must have that! That should turn on the wifi and it will work. Unless the wifi signal is very poor, it will find it.
