Hey, im hoping someone might be able to help.
I've been using my Fitbit Versa 1 on my iphone 13 pro fine, and i just got a new Iphone 17 pro max and have tried to setup the watch on the new phone and it just wont find it.
I've followed all the guidance:
it feels like the app is missing some sort of access to the bluetooth but i cant see what since it shows access in the permissions thing.
Is my Versa finally done?
Update
Sadly I had no luck with either Apple Support or FitBit support so ended up getting a new watch

@Aureanna Interesting. I spoke to both Apple and Fitbit support on their respective online help chats.
neither was able to help, Both pretty much just said it’s an older device so probably isn’t compatible.
in the end I gave my Versa to my brother and just got a new watch but not a Fitbit.

Yeah thats frustrating, i'm not in the market to upgrade right now so now i'm left with a device that works perfectly fine on my old phone but wont connect to my new one yet apple and fitbit have both told me its compatible but its clearly not.
----
they did offer me the 30% discount on a new watch but I don't want to buy a new fitbit if its going to have the same problem with this phone...

Why is this labeled an answered when this did it resolve the issue? While this is a good post and lets me know I’m not the only one with this issue, the problem has not been resolved. This is vey frustrating.

This, so much this. If the original Versa is no longer compatible with Apple's latest phone hardware I'd fully expect someone from fitbit to verify it, and announce it.
Apple forums and customer support have been as useless as any offical support here. I just want clarity.

They didn't outright say its not compatible but they basically insinuated as much by offering me a discount for an upgraded device. Apple didn't help me either since this is a fitbit issue.

I basically gave up with the Fitbit and got a different watch, no one could give me a clear answer Fitbit nor Apple they just pretty much said the same thing
”it's a discontinued device get a new one”
