Have received a replacement Versa and are having difficulty with the setup for the new unit. Have followed instructions, bluetooth, battery, etc. but syncing doesn't happen.
There has to be better guidelines out there...? Can anyone suggest or describe what we may be doing incorrectly or have better instructions from Fitbit..? Or is this just a continuing problem with setup and Fitbit..?

Hi, try this guide I wrote when the new Firmware was released and a lot of users had problems updating to it. @hollandgl It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with the setup issues that you are experiencing with your new Versa. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
In addition to the great workaround that shared my friend @SunsetRunner, since you mentioned that this is a replacement unit, please make sure to remove the previous Versa (the faulty one) from your phone's Bluetooth list and also make sure that it's not near your phone while setting up the replacement Versa.
Finally, I'd like to know the following details: Do you get any error message during the setup process? What is your phone's model?

Thank you. Your suggestion worked..! Could have been clearer with steps on how to remove the original Versa watch, but eventually managed..Thanks again.
