Cannot Pair - Versa been locked

Trying to connect to my versa and all it keeps saying is that the device is locked and can not be paired. ‘This may happen if the device is reported lost or if a warranty replacement has been issued. If you believe this is a error, please contact customer support. I have reset the device numerous times like Fitbit have told me to and still no luck.
