Cannot dictate text messages versa 2

A few weeks ago my Versa 2 stopped being able to dictate messages with voice. I have tried force restarting both watch and phone. Factory resetting my versa 2. Updated both devices. Made sure microphone has permission. Phone and versa are right next to eachother. I am receiving text messages to my versa and can reply using quick replies but not voice to text.
