Cannot transfer music to Versa 2

Hello,

 

I am trying to transfer music to a Versa 2 I just bought.

 

I tried from Windows 10. I downloaded the app, I went to music to try and set up the wifi. It just keeps on searching for a network and not finding one, even though there are plenty and I am online. I did set up wifi successfully on my Versa 2 directly through the phone app, but cant get wifi to show up on the computer so that I can transfer music.

 

I then switched to Mac OS Catalina, and here I cant even find an app in the app store as the app on the fitbit website is only for iphones and ipads, not macs, so not sure how I am supposed to to transfer music using MacOS?

 

Just a note I bought two Versa's last year and returned them because of myriad problems with transferring and playing music - thought I would give the Versa 2 a chance but not off to a good start....

I don't use music on my Versa 2 so I can't talk from experience but the steps you went through don't sound like those in the guide at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2251/

 

Is the app you refer to the fitbit app or the fitbit connect software? I'm wondering if you are using the app by mistake rather than fitbit connect.

@dodgingwrenches   Follow the instructions using your Windows 10 computer.  Mac OS Catalina has "Music", not "iTunes".  There are no instructions for transferring music using Music.
