Change left button shortcut

I just got a versa 2, and the only shortcut it’s letting me set got my left button is either Alexa or Fitbit Pay... I want to have exercise as my left button shortcut and not either of the other two. Is there a way of doing that??

Hi @Allanah5678 and welcome to the forums! Here are the instructions to change the short cut for the left button on the Versa 2.

From the Versa 2 clock face

• Swipe to the left until you see Settings. Tap that.
• Scroll to find Left Button. Tap it.
• Swipe up to see your short cut choices and tap Exercise. (See below)
• Here is the most important part - Swipe up until you see the Save button. Tap to save. 

 That should do it. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi carol, thanks for your reply! 

When I tap on the left button option in settings, I can’t get to the screen you mentioned? Every time I tap it I’m still only getting either Fitbit pay or Alexa... I couldn’t seem to swipe to get the option to chose the shortcut?

Hmmm ... @Allanah5678 ... Here are a couple other things to try:

• You don’t say which phone you use to sync but make sure the OS or iOS are up to date. 
• Try re-starting your Versa 2 or three times. Sometimes that will do the trick.

I'm not sure what's happened, but I just tried it again there and it's finally worked! 

Not sure what made it work in the end, but it's sorted now haha.

I've tried resetting several times, and OS is up to date, but still have this issue. Is there something else I should be doing?

I’m really sorry I can’t be of more help, I’m actually not sure what caused mine to work! 

I restarted it a few times more and then tried it again a day or two later and all of a sudden it was working! But I’m actually not sure what it was that made it work in the end... as unhelpful as that may be!

Thank you! That is helpful, I'll just give it a day or two & try again. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, I just don't use Alexa or the pay function at all. I would have just purchased the Versa but too excited about the music feature!
