I'm sorry it is not working for you. My Versa 2 is working quite well with my Pixel 3. and from the help page  https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 the Pixel 3 is listed as compatible.

Interesting. Apparently they have not updated all of their support people?  

My phone is not recognizing it, despite it being on and sitting right next to it .. I have reset the watch about 6 times and my blue tooth connection, etc etc
