Since the last Fitbit and Apple (iPhone) updates, I have been having major issues with my Versa Lite.
1. It would not synch. I tried ALL methods suggested to fix it.
2. I did a factory reset. Had major problems trying to set it up again with my phone. Finally got it, then it would not install the NEWEST Fitbit update.
3. Finally got my watch linked, newest Fitbit update installed...and it is STILL not being recognized by my iPhone 8 Plus.
I’m at a loss. I had another issue with my versa lite 9 months ago and had to pay 50% of the price to have a new one sent to me.
If I have to pay again to fix a problem that I did not create with this watch, I’d rather not have the watch.
I’ve been a faithful Fitbit customer for 5 years, despite all the exchanges I’ve had to make with my watches, as they always stopped working.
Please help!

Hi @ddrakes, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for all the details that were shared in your post, your effort troubleshooting this matter before posting over here is also appreciated. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iPhone 8+ that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I replied on 9/27 that none of the troubleshooting tips have worked.
My watch is not synching to my phone at all and I have not been able to save my data.
The battery is also running out quickly.
At this point, I’m looking at other options because this is the 3rd watch that has malfunctioned in the past year.
I use my watch daily, and for multiple fitness classes per week. They are not durable.
