I am wondering why sometimes for a 30km cycle I am credited 8000 steps and on another day I only get 3000 steps credit. I thought it was related to effort and heart beat but comparing results this does not seem to be the case. I set my Strava and record through Strava. Then I check my Versa and it indicates similar distance and average speed and details the heart rate too. Quite big discrepancies. Similarly my wife cycles to work and does 13-14km to work and always gets about 3500 steps credit and her Versa is a year older than mine.

Hi @Borzsony The cycling 'steps' you see are not a conversion of cycling to steps, they are a product of bumps in the road and the sensitivity of your tracker. I have several fitbits and they track different numbers of steps over the same routes I ride. Also the harder I have my tyres pumped and the worse condition the road is in the more steps I get. Just a fact of wrist worn tracker life!
