Counting step while not wearing it.

My versa is counting steps when I do not have it on.  I took it off overnight and did not put it on the charger.  When I got up to start my workout it refiregist 19000 steps.  How to I reset the steps and get an accurate count? This is the second time this has happened the first time it registered 4000 steps.

Same thing. I took it off last night for a shower forgot to put it on and woke up with 13,000 steps! Someone help.

Any luck? Mine said 119000 steps yesterday and 37000 now (8am). It's been on charge the whole time
