Let me start off by saying I love my fitbit. I have read the community forum on how to handle steps being counted when driving. So here's a suggestion that every fitbit user would agree upon. How about being able to turn the step counter off from the watch or phone. This should be a really simple fix. Employ the KISS method (keep it simple stupid).
Another suggestion would be to have the fitbit automatically turn off the step counter when driving. If the Alpine Snow App can detect my speed while snowboarding down a mountain why can't we get an app that detects the speed when we are driving and turn the step counter off.
It is not convenient to take my watch off and on when I'm in my car and plug it into the charger. I don't think adding my drive time to my dashboard either because I don't log the time I'm in the car. I can't remember to do that.
If there are other fitbit users that agree with me please like this suggestion. It would be a huge benefit to the fitbit community.
Thank You,
