For the 100th time my versa stopped syncing (I'm really thinking of changing brands) so I went through the motions of reinstalling the app, re connecting the watch etc and it synced!
However, it is implying I did no exercise or steps over the last couple of weeks. Now I know the watch holds data for 7 days so at the very least that should be there surely?
Any advice on how I might solve this? Really frustrating.

If you reset it the data is lost. I'm struggling to get my phone to even see the watch, getting very annoyed

I've had this issue many times too. To be honest I've done with fitbit we all have one (including the kids) and they always have issues.
I'm annoyed the data is lost when the advice is to reinstall the app grrrr
