Hi,
I've had my new Versa since 8/11/19 and noticed some interesting problems with syncing my device to my phone. I have an up to date Pixel 2 XL.
When I first got the device, it paired with no problem. Slept with it, no problem for the next few days. Was very happy with the product. Then, problems ensue...
I charged my versa for the first time after a few days of receiving the product. Battery charged up to 100%. Checked my watch and steps after removing from charge, still synced as usual. Then, I go to sleep about 20 minutes later... and wake up the next morning to find my phone app can no longer find my device. It will not detect my device until I restart my phone. Then it pairs again normally.
Been noticing this is a pattern that has been continuing to happen since. The versa syncs fine to my app upon waking up every night as long as i DONT charge it. Every few days that I do have to charge the versa, I will wake up to the same problem, my phone cannot detect my device and i have to restart my phone to fix the problem. Turning the bluetooth on/off will not fix it. At the time of sleep to the time I wake up I do not have any other bluetooth devices connected.
It has been extremely annoying to have to restart my phone every 3 days because of this problem. Is there any insight as to why this is happening??
Thanks.

To add to the above:
Due to the poor user experience I am thinking about returning this device as there are also inconsistencies in the heartrate monitor, but so far haven't owned it long enough to see a pattern like the syncing issue. Since it syncs properly as long as I don't charge the battery I don't think a hard factory reset will solve the problem, and I see this being offered as a solution in almost every syncing post...

I don't have a solution, but I am having the same issues with my Versa. I have had it since December and never had an issue prior to this. I also have the Pixel 2XL phone. The syncing issues started this week and it is constantly losing connection, not just when I charge it. I have tried resetting the device and my phone. The only fix is to restart my phone and I agree, it's really aggravating to have to do that everyday to get it to sync.

An update to my original post: I noticed that when I charge my versa to anything but 100%, the connection will not be lost the next day. If charging to 100%, it will lose connection the next day. Is this something that can be reported to the dev team?
