HR Spotify can't find active device

What does this mean and how can I fix it? It says that it can't find active device and my device is active. It also makes me open Spotify on my phone. How do I correct it without having to do that?

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the late response.

Please note that as Spotify HR was not developed by Fitbit, we do not offer support for it. My best recommendation is to contact Spotify HR's developer by going to Account > Versa Lite > Apps > Spotify HR and tap on the "contact developer" button.

However, if you haven't done it yet, please try the following:

  1. Open Spotify on your phone.
  2. Open the Fitbit app.
  3. Open the Spotify HR app on your Fitbit, if you're still seeing the same error message, force-quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
  4. While on the Fitbit app, open Spotify HR again and wait for it to connect.

According to the app description this is a remote controller for your Spotify account and you should be able to:

- Remote control music playback
- Change playlist
- Volume control

In order to install and manage apps on your watch, please check out this article.
