Deezer won't open on fitbit app

I keep seeing people having problems with deezer connecting to their Versa. The connection with deezer to my Versa 2 is fine (it wasn't connecting before but after a couple tries and reinstalling the fitbit app, it started working again). However every time I try to open deezer on the fitbit app in order to add music, I just keep getting a triangle with an exclamation mark and the message "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later" on my phone screen.

I have tried everything from reinstalling the app, factory resetting the Versa 2 and restarting my phone. Anyone out there with a solution?

@zoyaw97 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Deezer app not working correctly on your Versa 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleTry refreshing the link between your phone and your device by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

After this remove the Deezer app, restart your phone and Versa 2 and retry adding music.

Let me know how it goes.
