Default clock face

On fitbit versa 2 I have downloaded a clock face through the APPS . However, there's a digital "original default " clock keeps displaying!  Arggg. If I press the button I'm able to see the face I downloaded for a few seconds-then it goes back to that original default

I think you're referring to the "Always-on" clock face. Unfortunately, you're preferred clock face (the one you downloaded and can see when you press the button) can't be "always-on", instead, there is a default always-on clock face that has very few customization options.

oh... gosh... that's disappointing.  I'm not a fan of the default clock face at all. I'd love to see the clock face I downloaded each time I look at my watch.  There's got to be a way to delete the default face???

As far as I know, you cannot use any other clock face for the always-on display mode. You can only customize what shows: https://youtu.be/0-iEHodfVrg

You can turn off the always-on display mode so that you don't see the default face, but then you'll see a black screen when your downloaded clock face times out.

Thank you! I changed to an default analog face. It's not the one I selected from the Fit Bit APPs; but, at least its analog. But, wouldn't you think the user should be able to see the clock face you've chosen? I think so..

Yes, I think the always-on clock face should be your chosen clock face, but that's not how Fitbit has implemented it (and they don't make this clear before you purchase either).

Exactly the whole reason I purchased is to change the look of the watch and affect what other people see not what I see while I'm using it
