Device stuck and not tracking steps

Recieved a Versa Lite for Christmas and the tracker has been stuck on 1210 steps since I got it out of the box. (3rd fitbit 1st time having problems) If someone could tell me how to reset my watch first and what to do next if that doesnt work, thanks.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, seems odd that your device isn't counting steps as the way it was designed. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to follow the next steps to restart your device:

 

  1. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?
