I purchased my Fitbit 5 months ago and everything was working up until last week. It will not sync with Galaxy S8+. Then I installed the app on my laptop; nothing! Next I installed the app on my Lenovo Tab Android Tablet, and again nothing!
Everything that I could possible do, I did and still it won't work. Apparently, this is a known issue going back more than a year. Why do they continue to sell these? Fix the problem already, then sell the new and improved watch! I paid over $200 and I don't think it's fair to sell something that has known problems. What, as consumers, can we do or say to make them accountable?
I have turned off phone....cant figure out how to reboot device without losing the history. Thus is a recent development and frustrating!
Best AnswerI agree zonk333! Mine is less than a year old and I have had issues since day one getting it to sync. But right now i'm on 2 weeks of no sync. I have tried EVERYTHING mentioned in these forums and nothing works. I am paying for a subscription to Pandora to use the streaming on the Versa which due to not syncing I can't use. The stations can't update! Complete waste of money and I'm so frustrated. Makes me never want to buy a fitbit again.
Yes, Fitbit losers are back to breaking syncing again.
What kind of loser IT peeps do you all have? Why can't you fix things and LEAVE them fixed.
Versa won't sync at all now... and yes, have already followed all the suggested steps.
It's your problem Fitbit... get it fixed!!!

Best AnswerI've spoken to he fitbit and apparently they released the update without actually checking if all devices supported the update. I have a Huawei P20 and wasn't told when I switched to the new app it wouldn't work so now I'm stuck with a fitbit that doesn't work until they test it on my phone 🤷🏻:female_sign:
Best AnswerHi everybody, I am on the phone with FB now. They say that they are aware of the problem and have already released a fix for iOS. He said the Android fix will probably be tomorrow or the next day. He said don't worry, it will be fixed.
... he said.
Best AnswerHow do we fix it when they correct the issue? Do we just keep trying to update the Versa? I do have an Android.
