Difference between boot camp and workout

I’ve been trying to find some definitive descriptions of the various exercise modes, but not having any luck.  I do the RIPPED exercise video and am wondering which mode is most appropriate.  I’ve been using boot camp but not sure if this gives me the most accurate number of fit points.   Appreciate any advice on this subject.

20+ exercises are available in the Exercise app.  Choose the option that best matches your activity (for example, if you attend a spin class, use Spinning). If your exercise isn’t included, choose Workout.

 

As long as you are using the Exercise App to record it, the difference is mostly just for your own reference, to remember what you were doing.

But you mention "fit points".  I don't know them;   if they are linked to some other app, I have no idea.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
