Differing software on Versa2?

I have bought another Versa 2 for my wife having been so pleased with my own. 

There are odd differences:-

1) Only Alexa or Fitbit Pay are shown as options for the LH button hold.

2) There is no SmartWake feature when setting an alarm.

3) In the Exercise app the screens show coloured photos for shortcuts rather than a list.

None of the above are major issues but does anyone have any idea as to why there are differences? My version is 35.70.8.0 whereas the new watch is 35.68.9.15. Might this be a reason? Cannot see why though. Thank you. One puzzled customer!

I don't know if that is the reason, but the higher version is the most recent. Do you get prompted to do an update in the app?
